Terms of service

Last updated:

These terms are the rules (regulamin under Art. 8 of the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on Providing Services by Electronic Means) for using the Grant Radar funding call service (grant-radar.pl/funding, "Funding") and Grant Radar Clubs (grant-radar.pl/clubs, "Clubs"). By creating an account in either service you accept these terms. The privacy policy explains how we process personal data. The company pages and the funding search on grant-radar.pl follow these terms where they apply.

The services and the operator

  • Grant Radar, Wrocław, Poland ("Grant Radar" or "we"), runs the services. Contact: iwo@scindu.com.
  • Funding lists open and forthcoming EU and Polish funding calls and matches them to a company profile.
  • Grant Radar Clubs gives student research clubs a public page, a member directory, a project portfolio, and matched scholarships and opportunities.
  • The services are independent of universities and funders. A club page is not an official university page, and a call page is not an official funder page.
  • The services are free.
  • To use them, you need a current web browser, an internet connection and an e-mail address.
  • The agreement for the services is concluded when you create an account, and it runs for an indefinite period.

Your account

  • You must be 16 or older. In Funding, you also confirm that you may act for the company you describe.
  • Give true information and do not share your login details with anyone. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
  • One person, one account. Do not create accounts for other people.
  • Only a club's board may create and manage that club's profile.

Your content and the licence you give us

  • Your content is what you enter or upload: a company profile, profile data, documents, club data, projects, images and texts. You keep your rights in it.
  • You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use your content in these fields of use: recording, copying, storing, displaying and making it available to the public in the services. You also allow us to translate and adapt your content, and to grant sublicences to our service providers and legal successors for the same purposes.
  • We use the licence to run, improve and promote the services, to develop our other products, and to create statistics and anonymised datasets.
  • For your personal data, the privacy policy and your settings decide who sees it.
  • The licence ends when you delete the content or your account. It continues for anonymised and aggregated data, for content other users have already shared with your permission, and for copies we must keep by law or for claims.
  • You confirm that you have the rights to what you upload, and that it does not break the law or the rights of others.

Funding call information

  • We collect calls from public sources, such as the EU Funding & Tenders Portal and Polish programme websites, and classify and summarise them with automated tools. Summaries, dates, amounts, eligibility notes and matches can be wrong or out of date.
  • The funder's official documents always prevail. Check them at the source before you apply.
  • Grant Radar is not a funder or a programme operator, and the information in the services is not legal, tax or financial advice.
  • We do not guarantee funding, eligibility, a match or a collaboration.

Documents and AI

  • When you upload a document to Clubs, we may read it with automated tools and AI models to extract information for your profile. The results can contain mistakes. Check them before you save them.
  • Upload only your own documents. Do not upload documents with other people's personal data that you have no right to share.

Opportunities and company requests in Clubs

  • Opportunities marked Sample are illustrative. They are not real calls.
  • For real calls, the organiser's own rules apply. Always check them at the source.
  • We pass company requests to clubs. Grant Radar is not a party to any agreement between a company and a club or the university the club belongs to.

Feedback

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely, without any duty to you.

Rules of use

  • Do not post unlawful, false or offensive content.
  • Do not add people to a club without their knowledge.
  • Do not copy data from the services by automated means, and do not use member data to send unwanted messages.
  • Do not try to break the security of the services or to access other accounts.

Liability

  • The services are free and in active development. We provide them as they are, and they may have breaks or errors.
  • To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost opportunities or indirect loss, and we are not liable for content posted by users.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability for wilful misconduct, or rights that consumers have by law.

Complaints

  • Send complaints about the services to iwo@scindu.com. Describe the problem and give your account e-mail. We reply within 14 days.
  • Consumers can also use out-of-court dispute resolution, for example the help of a municipal or district consumer ombudsman (rzecznik konsumentów) or the Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa).

Changes to the terms, blocking and termination

  • We may change the services and these terms, for example because of new features, changes in law or security needs. We tell users about important changes to the terms at least 14 days before they apply. If you do not accept them, you can terminate the agreement before that date.
  • You can terminate the agreement at any time. Write to iwo@scindu.com and we delete your account.
  • We may block or delete accounts and content that break these terms or the law. We tell you the reason, unless the law forbids it.

Applicable law

  • Polish law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection that the mandatory law of the country where you habitually live gives you.
  • The consumer provisions of these terms also apply to a natural person who concludes the agreement directly in connection with their business, when the agreement is not of a professional nature for them (Art. 385⁵ of the Polish Civil Code).
