grant-radarfor universities

Grant Radar for universities, in full.

The long version of the one-page offer. Six areas, how a rollout works, and what the data agreement covers. Features marked “planned” are proposed additions, not available today.

Website

A public site for a department, faculty or research centre. People, publications, projects, news and events. Your branding and languages.

  • Researchers prepare their own updates. Editors approve what goes public.
  • Researcher, laboratory, project and publication pages come from the same records.
  • Search across the site and an enquiry route for collaboration.

Planned: institution-wide content health, a coordinated faculty presence.

People and research data

Profiles, affiliations, publications and project relationships in one place. Researchers own their profile. Reviewers check it before it goes public.

  • Imports from OpenAlex, ORCID and RAD-on, each record with its source.
  • A clear line between draft and public.
  • The same records feed the website, the applications and the reports.

Planned: capability and facility profiles, collaboration availability.

Research discovery

Describe a research need in plain words. The platform finds relevant researchers and the publications behind them, also when you do not know their names.

  • Search by meaning or by exact terms.
  • Every result links to its evidence.
  • Start from a document you already have.

Planned: shared discovery workspaces, research watches.

Funding and applications

Open EU and Polish calls from Grant Radar, next to the people who could apply. Prepare the application and follow the internal approval in one place.

  • Review the fit before you rely on a call.
  • Find the missing expertise for a consortium.
  • Record the external decision and hand an award into a project.

Planned: a grant readiness workspace, consortium completion, a funding-pipeline portfolio.

Projects and reporting

One place for project records, purchase and travel requests, approvals and progress reports. Each request keeps its research and funding context.

  • Planned work and responsibilities.
  • Purchases and travel connected to the work.
  • Outputs and reports with continuity between periods.

Planned: evidence-backed reporting packs, budget and effort planning, a research-office portfolio.

Industry and collaboration

Companies that describe a technical goal on grant-radar.pl see matching calls and the researchers who could deliver. Your university decides what is visible.

  • Publication of expertise stays a choice, record by record.
  • Potential partners shown in context.
  • A route from a business challenge to a scoped project.

Planned: an institutional collaboration inbox, a confirmed consortium workspace.

How a rollout works

  1. A 30-minute call. You say which unit starts and what it needs first: website, researcher profiles, applications or projects.
  2. A written scope. Units, languages, data sources, editors and the data agreement. Nothing is paid for the core.
  3. Import and review. We load public records from OpenAlex, ORCID and RAD-on. Your editors review before anything goes live.
  4. Go live and expand. One department first. More units when it works. Integration with your existing systems is scoped separately.

The data agreement

The trade: the software and the implementation are free. In return you choose which research data companies may search to find your people. Nothing else leaves your university.

  • Public records only: researcher profiles, publications, projects and capabilities that you mark as public.
  • Private applications, award documents and internal decisions stay in your permissioned workspace.
  • The platform does not submit grant applications. Submission follows the funding agency’s own process.

What the screenshots show

The screens on the universities page show Grant Radar for universities with sample data. No university is presented as a customer. It is a new, independent implementation; its founder built research systems at Wrocław University of Science and Technology before Grant Radar.
