- Eligible are (1) graduates whose environmental-protection master’s thesis was defended in academic year 2025/2026 at a higher-education institution located in Łódź Voivodeship, and (2) doctorate holders whose environmental-protection dissertation was defended in that academic year at an institution located in the Voivodeship.

- Application requires signed participant entry card with exactly one competition category and one leading thematic area, including dean/authorized-person signature and participant signature; complete attachment package: printed and electronic abstract (maximum 10 A4 pages and 25,000 characters including spaces), electronic presentation (maximum 10 slides), electronic thesis/dissertation, university-certified diploma copy or university certificate, and original or university-certified supervisor review.
The regulations call the package complete; applications that are late, unsigned, improperly completed or incomplete are not evaluated. Abstract and presentation must be supplied electronically on USB. The electronic multimedia presentation must highlight the work’s innovation, how its topics may affect the economy and improve quality of life, and the significance of proposed solutions for Łódź Voivodeship (§3(2)(b)).

- Deliver one complete hard-copy set in a sealed, labelled envelope to the Fund in person, by postal service or courier; the complete signed application must arrive at the Fund by 6 November 2026 at 15:30. Receipt at the Fund, not dispatch, determines timeliness. Abstract and presentation also go on USB.

- Eligible environmental-protection research is in any of the seven enumerated areas: energy transition; air quality; circular economy including waste, water protection and water management; biodiversity and ecosystem functions; environmental education; innovation; climate adaptation.
