This is a photographic competition for individuals, not a grant or vacancy.

Ograniczenie dotyczące wniosku

Autumn-edition submissions are accepted from 23 September through 21 December 2026; the organizer’s receipt date determines timeliness. Photos must also have been made during the autumn-edition period (23 September–21 December 2026).

Entries submitted early or late are excluded. The photograph must fall within the same edition period.

The official announcement links a public online “Formularz zgłoszeniowy JESIEŃ” in addition to the PDF rules’ email procedure. The observed first page requires participant name, phone and email and offers text-description fields for both category slots. It instructs participants to email photo attachments immediately after sending the form, from the supplied address, to promocja@wfosigw.lodz.pl. The page shows Next; with no answers, the browser reports the three identity/contact fields as required. No answers were entered or submitted.

The PDF rules still control the contest: one form, up to two photographs (one each category), and image filenames/descriptions as specified. Only the visible first online-form page was read; no later page or submission result is claimed.

Photographs shortlisted for a prize or honorable mention, including finalists, must be supplied as the original RAW or JPG file directly from the digital camera when requested by the jury or organizer. Failure to present the original file, or prohibited interference/editing, results in disqualification.

The request is conditional and applies to shortlisted prize/mention candidates; the file is not required to be uploaded in the initial entry form.

The entry must be the participant’s own original work, unpublished and undistributed in any form, with exclusive/complete copyright authority and no third-party-rights infringement. The form declares that original image resolution has not been increased and the image was not previously entered in another contest. AI use and photomontage combining elements from different files are prohibited; date/signature/logo overlays and advertising content are barred.

Noncompliant works may be disqualified. These are entry declarations/rules, not a statement about the organizer independently verifying every submission.

Nature photography entered in one or both categories: “ŁÓDZKIE PEJZAŻE” or “DZIKIE ŻYCIE ŁÓDZKIEGO”.

The autumn edition promotes local landscapes and wildlife/nature and has separate category rankings.

Kwalifikowalny zakres projektu

Eligible entries must show only wild nature in natural, free conditions: wild-growing plants, wild-living animals, or natural nonliving nature. Domestic, farmed, captive or zoo/rehabilitation animals; cultivated plants/garden or designed green areas; and distinct human-made structures such as buildings, roads, poles or fences are excluded. Anthropogenic elements are allowed only as a natural biotope fragment and may not dominate the frame. Identifiable human likenesses are not admitted.

The organizer may reject/disqualify noncompliant entries. Images must also avoid infringing third-party rights and advertising/logos under §6(4)-(5).

Send the digital photograph and completed, signed form by email to promocja@wfosigw.lodz.pl; name each photograph file with surname and category, and include each image’s title, capture date and location.

The email must be sent from the address stated in the form; the organizer can request correction of formal defects within three calendar days.

A participant may file one form and at most two photographs in one edition, no more than one photograph in each category; no collective entries.

There is no obligation to enter both categories. Each photograph has its own title and description with date and location.

The jury assesses anonymized photographs. Each judge assigns whole-number points from 1 through 6, using technique, originality, creativity, artistic impression, category fit, and the wildlife criterion. The jury chair decides ties; the jury’s assessment is final with no appeal. The contest is decided only if at least 15 photographs in each category are not rejected under §4(6); fewer than 15 in either category leaves the contest undecided.

The 15-photo threshold is an operative per-category condition, not a prediction of entries or a budget.

Winners and participants whose photographs receive an honorable mention grant the organizer, upon results announcement, a free, nonexclusive five-year licence with sublicensing rights over specified reproduction, storage, exhibition and online-publication uses, including editing/crops and derivative rights described in §10. Other participants’ images may be requested by the jury for a separate optional consent under Annex 4; that consent is also free, nonexclusive and five years, and is distinct from the mandatory prize/mention licence.

The award licence is triggered by winning or honorable mention; the separate Annex 4 consent is not stated as mandatory for nonwinners.

Winners and honorable-mention recipients must deliver an original, hand-signed personal income-tax settlement form with bank account number; the prize is transferred within 14 calendar days after the correctly completed form is received.

No cost reimbursement is provided; participants pay their own preparation and submission costs.

Results for each edition are to be announced within three weeks after the submission deadline.

Winners and participants with an honorable mention are also notified by email using the address stated in their form.
