Eligible applicants are legal entities or legally capable organizational units that organize an ecological competition or are governing bodies of public or non-public primary/secondary schools or kindergartens; natural persons are excluded. The competition cannot charge an entry fee.

The application intake is continuous. An organizer may apply no more than twice per calendar year, directly or through a school governing body. The Fund board decides grant amount by resolution using, among other things, alignment with programme goals, competition reach, participant engagement, cyclicity and recognition. The grant agreement is formed upon effective delivery of the Fund’s award letter; settlement is due within 30 days after the competition and payment is due within 15 business days after complete settlement.

Costs are eligible only when incurred after the application date, and the undertaking must not be complete before application. Cost-incurrence date is the invoice, bill or equivalent accounting-document date.

A participant is a person who properly registered under the competition rules, for example by submitting an entry or taking a test. The Fund assesses participant count at application and again at settlement; the grant may be reduced if planned participation is not reached. The PLN 3,000/5,000 thresholds apply to total prize-purchase costs, not each individual prize.

The recipient must settle the grant within 30 days after the competition using the required report and attachments. Payment is due within 15 working days after complete settlement. If an item’s individual value exceeds PLN 100 net and its form permits, it must carry the Fund logo and funding statement; recipients with websites/social media must publish funding information.

Koszt kwalifikowalny

Funding is limited to tangible prizes for ecological-competition laureates and prizes should relate to the competition theme. For children and youth, individual prizes may include publications, school supplies, sports/tourism or photographic equipment, educational games, gardening tools, small electronics, seedlings, eco-bags and small gifts; group prizes may additionally include teaching aids and educational nature trips within Poland. Adult prizes are set individually and require Fund approval.
